FullStack TypeScript/Node/React/ReactNative/Postgres Developer

Job Description

We are currently looking for a highly motivated out of the box thinker who is knowledgeable and reliable in full stack development using the JavaScript ecosystem to contribute to internal and client software projects. Ideal candidates will work with developers, designers and marketers to create amazing web/mobile experiences.

Key Objectives

  • Develop software according to end user requirements and quality standards as well as deliver within defined timeframes with minimal rework
  • Demonstrate core competency in programming fundamentals and best practices such as SOLID, DRY, and Domain Driven Design
  • Design, build and maintain high performing, reusable, and reliable code
  • Collaborate with business analysts and the user community to develop solutions that meet specific business objectives

Required Knowledge, Education, Skills, and Abilities

  • At least 3 years of related work experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript ES6 / TypeScript
  • Expert knowledge of React.js and React Native
  • Expert knowledge of HTML5
  • Expert knowledge of SASS / CSS3
  • Strong working knowledge of functional programming
  • Strong working knowledge of Node.js
  • Strong working knowledge of Postgres and Postgis
  • Strong working knowledge of UX / UI best practices and optimization techniques
  • Ability to build UI from concept to design to code
  • Experience in a time-sensitive work environment with the ability to track and meet multiple deadlines
  • You have experience shipping quality code, releasing early, and iterating rapidly
  • You understand how Internet services work at scale
  • You have opinions on what makes effective programming and testing practices
  • You prefer practicality over dogmatism
